Microbiome Analysis
As a Microbiome Analyst, I use progressive Microbiome stool testing to guide individual treatment recommendations to best support your health. The tests provide empowering information on all the bacteria in the gut – not just a handful of species.
What is the body's Microbiome?
Our body is full of trillions of bacteria, viruses and other microbes that are collectively known as the Microbiome. While many of the bacteria in our gut are so far poorly studied, some of them are understood to play an important beneficial role, and others are now known to cause symptoms when the gut ecosystem is out of balance (dysbiosis).
Changes in the composition of the community of microscopic life in our gut microbiome has now been linked to an astonishing array of health conditions – from gut disorders such as IBS, to autoimmune diseases, inflammatory conditions, and even depression and anxiety.

As a Microbiome Analyst with The Microbiome Group Practice (MGP), I use progressive microbiome stool testing to guide individual treatment recommendations to best support your health. The tests provide empowering information on all the bacteria in your gut – not just a handful of species.
We have a special focus on supporting people with long-term gut issues and chronic illness, in particular Long Covid and other fatigue conditions.
We are committed to evidence-based practice, meaning our treatment recommendations are informed by the latest research and data from well-designed clinical trials. We look, first, at how certain foods can support microbiome changes, and prescribe targeted probiotics and specific prebiotics as required.
